Danielle will guide the handpiece across the treatment area to deliver even, precise pulses of light energy. Many patients describe the sensation as similar to a light snap against the skin. Most treatments take about 30 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas being treated.
Post-Treatment Care
Your skin may appear red or feel warm for one to three days following treatment, and any areas of pigmentation may flake slightly more than the surrounding skin as it clears. Because San Diego patients spend so much time outdoors, we recommend avoiding direct sun exposure for 7 to 10 days following your treatment. During this time, wear a mineral sunscreen containing zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, or both to protect your healing skin and preserve your results.
